St. Faustina & Divine Mercy
All year the munchkins work on learning part of the Hour of Mercy Prayer from the prayers of the Divine Mercy Chaplet. At this point in the year, they are very good at it! It's always neat to see the lights go on when we get to our mini lessons about Divine Mercy Sunday and they put the pieces together!
We use some of the wonderful activities from Catholic Icing to celebrate this special Sunday of grace and mercy.

We had fun turning some Nilla wafers into the Heart of Jesus.
We learned all about St. Faustina and her beautiful image of Jesus.
And we made Divine Mercy "Sundaes" for Divine Mercy Sunday!
And this little stand-up image of Jesus will look great at home on everyone's table Sunday morning!
For the sake of His sorrowful passion,
Have Mercy on us and on the whole world.
These paper chaplets were a great way to introduce the munchkins to the other prayers.
Oh Blood and Water,
Which poured forth from the Heart of Jesus,
As a font of mercy for us,
I trust in You.
Until next time...
Giggles,
Mrs. D.
