We Love our School!

We had a fun week to celebrate our wonderful Catholic school and our Junior High student council planned all sorts of fun "spirit week" activities for us.  Our PTO also planned a carnival to end the week!  It was all so much fun!

We had Pajama Day...

And Mix and Match Day...

And, of course, Blue and Gold Day!

And our last day of the week was filled with fun activities like...

board games & ice cream parties...

face painting...

and carnival games!

School Spirit: Day Two

Spirit Week: Mix It & Match It

(or rather...don't match it!)

Today was our second day of Spirit Week and what a day it was!  Today our munchkins were allowed to find all those things that are in the closet that don't go together...and wear them all at once!

What a hoot!

I wasn't close enough to get all the shoes and socks, many of which were mismatched as well...

We definitely gave new meaning to the layered look!

And the choice of colors was extraordinary!

We did have some munchkins that opted for their uniforms today.  Maybe they thought that mixing & matching is just too crazy...or could it be that they don't like yellow & blue together!?

School Spirit: Day One

Spirit Week:  Sports Day

The week before Easter Break has been designated as our School Spirit Week by our Junior High Student Council.  They have created a fun-filled week for us to help celebrate how much we love our school.  We get free "out of uniform" days to wear the clothing items specified by our student council.  Today was our first day.

We seemed to have the greatest number of football fans among our munchkins, with the Chicago Bears coming in as our number one team.  We did have the Cardinals & the Colts in the showing, too though!  Unfortunately, I don't own a Minnesota Vikings shirt or I would have been right in there with them!

We also had some baseball fans.  (And again, I don't have anything NY-ish to wear to cheer on my Yankees.)  But we did have two St. Louis Cardinal fans (and NO Cub Fans!) and a Cincinnati Reds fan, too!

We also had some very individual munchkins.  We had a Wisconsin Badgers fan, an Ohio Buckeye Fan, a die-hard soccer fan, and probably the most appropriate of all...

We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings as our fun week continues!
