School Spirit

We Love our School!

We had a fun week to celebrate our wonderful Catholic school and our Junior High student council planned all sorts of fun "spirit week" activities for us.  Our PTO also planned a carnival to end the week!  It was all so much fun!

We had Pajama Day...

And Mix and Match Day...

And, of course, Blue and Gold Day!

And our last day of the week was filled with fun activities like...

board games & ice cream parties...

face painting...

and carnival games!

Until next time...

Catholic Schools' Week

Celebrating Our School!

This year's theme for Catholic Schools' Week was:
Catholic Schools:  A+ for America!

We spent some time right before Catholic Schools' Week to write about our fabulous school and all the "pluses" we have been blessed with.  The munchkins did a great job completing an entire paragraph, complete with a wrap up sentence and all!  They were fantastic!  The best part was the ideas...what they loved about our school.  Even in kindergarten, these munchkins realize that what sets us apart is that we invite Jesus into our classrooms with us everyday.

We hung our beautiful paragraphs, along with each munchkin's drawing of the school, in our front windows for everyone to enjoy during Catholic Schools' Week.

And then the snow came.

And we missed three days of school right in the middle of our celebratory week!

But never fear!  The plows were able to dig us out by Friday, so we were able to enjoy the culminating event of the week...
