A "Sticky" Situation!
Mr. B sure got himself into a bind, didn't he?
Our loving principal challenged our school to read 50,000 pages during the month of March, and as a reward, he agreed to let everyone participate in taping him to the wall. Well...needless to say, our students all rose to the challenge. It only took them about 3 weeks to far surpass the goal, so Mr. B was stuck (in more ways than one!).
He chose the perfect day for the event ~ April Fool's Day!
We all gathered for an assembly in the gym and watched as each student was awarded 12" of duct tape to help "stick it" to the principal! Too much fun!
Mr. B took all the necessary precautions...
He was dressed in garbage bags with as much skin covered as possible!
The taping began with preschool and kindergarten! Some of our munchkins didn't want to do it, because they didn't want to hurt him! Too sweet.
When they saw it was perfectly safe, all was well, and all twelve little munchkins filed in to help tape Mr. B's arms. Be sure to visit our SchoolTube channel to see the video steam of our "contribution" !
This is what Mr. B looked like when we were done with him!
But it didn't stop there...
The 8th graders had the privilege of adding the last few strips and Mr. B was even so kind as to take a picture with his 8th grade class.
And when we were all dismissed to go back to class, he was left all alone to figure out how to get off that wall!
Poor Mr. B!
What a great sport!
Until next time...
Giggles,
Mrs. D.
